Dr. Amr El-Khashab, DPM

Dr. El-Khashab is a podiatric physician and surgeon, and proud Houstonian who provides the finest foot and ankle care for residents in his hometown.

Dr. El-Khashab completed his undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University. He then earned his podiatric medical degree at the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine/Rosalind Franklin School of Health Sciences in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. El-Khashab then moved to New York City to complete an intensive three-year medical and reconstructive foot and ankle surgical residency program at Interfaith Medical Center where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. El-Khashab completed his post graduate training with a one-year fellowship at Interfaith Medical Center.

Dr. El-Khashab remained in New York City for several years in private practice and also taught at multiple New York hospitals before moving back to Texas with his family to practice in his hometown. He offers well-rounded treatment options through his experience in general podiatry and specialties in orthopedics, pediatrics, vascular surgery, and plastic surgery. Dr. El-Khashab is fluent in both English and Arabic, which allows him to communicate with more patients in his community.

Dr. El-Khashab is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and an active member of The American Podiatric Medical Association as well as the Texas Podiatric Medical Association.

Outside of the white coat, Dr. El-Khashab enjoys pick up soccer, experimenting in the kitchen, and most of all, spending time with his growing family.

Dr. Rebecca Schwartz, DPM

Dr. Schwartz is a highly skilled podiatric physician dedicated to providing exceptional care for patients of all ages. She began her academic journey at Texas A&M University, where she earned her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in Horticulture. Driven by a passion for podiatry, Dr. Schwartz continued her education at Des Moines University, earning her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree with academic honors.

Following her graduation, Dr. Schwartz completed a rigorous three-year surgical residency in foot and ankle surgery in Houston, where she demonstrated outstanding leadership and expertise, serving as Chief Resident. Her residency provided her with extensive experience in both conservative and surgical management of foot and ankle conditions, including forefoot surgery, rearfoot surgery, limb salvage, pediatrics, and trauma.

Dr. Schwartz is board qualified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, underscoring her commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care. Her practice encompasses a comprehensive range of treatments, ensuring personalized care for each patient, whether through conservative approaches or surgical interventions.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Schwartz is an active member of the Texas Podiatric Medical Association (TPMA). She has made significant contributions to the organization by serving on numerous committees and co-chairing various initiatives, demonstrating her dedication to advancing the field of podiatric medicine.

Outside of her professional life, Dr. Schwartz enjoys cheering on the Aggies, taking her dogs on long walks, and immersing herself in a good mystery novel. Her commitment to her patients, her profession, and her community makes Dr. Schwartz a respected and compassionate podiatric physician.
